It isn't too late

I get it...you're a manager and you don't need me telling you how to operate. Thats cool.

But one thing before you go......Have you said "good job" to anyone lately? Like I mean really took an employee aside and said thank you!



Well, the good news is that you aren't alone. So many really really great managers out there are forgetting to recognize their high performers. It isn't on purpose. It's because we relate to the high performer and assume that they are just doing their job and they are happy to do so.


The crazy thing...! That might actually be very true. A lot of high performers don't actually expect you to pull them aside and thank them for a job well done.


But guess what? That shouldn't stop you. Make a point of ALWAYS recognizing high performers on your team. They may not think they need the recognition, but trust me...they will appreciate it every single time!
